Jewelry care and instructions

Earrings care

  1. Customers who leave their child’s earrings in 24/7 may find that dirt builds up inside the ear.
  2. This can cause discomfort to a child or allergic reaction. Paint the posts and back surface of your child's earrings to avoid reaction to nickel which is common.
  3. While selling our earrings please continue to cleanse the child’s ears regularly with cotton and alcohol and turn the earrings inside their ears.
  4. If an item is returned with dark marks and/or discoloration this is a sign of earrings being left in the ear and not exposed to air.  All our jewelry is plumb gold.
  5. This can be corrected easily with any standard soft jewelry polishing cloth.
  6. Huggies can become misaligned when worn all the time.  To quickly adjust simply take the thumb and gently push toe post down with a flat nose pliers. Test the closure. When you hear a click the post is correctly aligned.  These earrings may be sent back to be adjusted.
  7.  Call before returning. In some cases we will issue repair credits to allow a store to use a local jeweler to make simple repairs.
  8. Jewelry stated as plated is covered over sterling silver unless noted. Costume jewelry may contain lead and should not be placed in the mouth for any reason at any time. This is a soft metal and can be dangerous immediately.
